CariLocum is a platform that connects healthcare professionals with locum job opportunities in Malaysia. We provide a marketplace where doctors can find flexible work opportunities and clinics can post locum positions. We are not a direct employer and do not guarantee employment.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use our service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 For Healthcare Professionals

As a healthcare professional using our service, you agree to:

• Maintain valid professional licenses and certifications
• Provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience
• Comply with all applicable medical and professional standards
• Respect patient confidentiality and privacy
• Fulfill commitments made to employers
• Report any issues or concerns promptly

4.2 For Employers/Clinics

As an employer using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
• Comply with all applicable employment laws
• Pay agreed-upon rates in a timely manner
• Provide a safe and professional working environment
• Respect healthcare professionals' rights and dignity
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Circumvent any security measures or restrictions

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on our platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our service.

6.2 Our Content

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CariLocum and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Payment Terms

Our basic service is free to use. Premium features may be available for a fee. Payment terms for premium services will be clearly disclosed before purchase. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8.2 No Employment Relationship

CariLocum is a platform that facilitates connections between healthcare professionals and employers. We are not a direct employer and do not create employment relationships. Any employment relationship is between the healthcare professional and the employer.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CariLocum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CariLocum and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your account settings.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Severability
